Abdulnasser Alshaali, born and raised in the United Arab Emirates. In September 2010, I was appointed as the Finance Manager for my father’s group of companies, JAS Group. My role was to manage the budgets of all businesses that the group operated: real estate, glass factory, aluminum factory, and marine factory. The businesses that the group managed are located in the UAE and Syria which required my travel sometimes to do costing analysis and budgeting for the factories there. My work in the family business was concluded in May 2012 when I established Alshaali & Associates Commercial Consultancy with me being the managing partner. While managing family businesses, I worked for Emirates Airline as Flight Analysis Superintendent from January 2011 to February 2013 . I am also a partner in Edmini; a high-end brand in the customisation of leather products that was founded by me and the managing partner.

In my life time, I have received three prestigious awards at UAE and GCC levels, all being in regards to Educational Excellence and knowledge. The first one was awarded to me by his Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qassimi, the current Ruler of Sharjah, in 2002. I received my second award from his Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Makoom, the current Minister of Finance, in 2004. I was granted my third award by his Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi in the 30th anniversary of Knowledge Day. 

In regards to my studies, I have completed my IGCSE and GCSE exams from Cambridge University. After that, I joined the American University of Sharjah and completed my Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a partial focus in Economics. As part of my studies, I wrote a research paper that analyzed one of the temporary trends in the UAE stock markets which I then submitted to Mawarid Finance to compete in Tamaiaz Award. I won the first prize in the finance and banking section of the award in the year 2009. I have obtained a degree in Masters of Business Administration at Murdoch University of Perth, Australia. In 2014, I obtained a degree in Masters of Business Management: Banking and Finance with a thesis that introduces a quantitative approach to evaluate countries.
